Goodbye, Eriksen Gallery

The third gallery in the past 12 months to close in Half Moon Bay did so today. More than 30 years in business, and the first gallery to show my work. They were so terrific to work with. I wish them well, Teresa, Gene, and Darryl.

Great turn out, met many collectors that have my work. A little sad.

Well wishes from customers

  1. Hi there,

I was just looking up information on Douglas Shively as I sold a painting of his today, and I came across your wonderful website.

I have just begun (one year now) painting and two weeks ago began painting outdoors (not easy) the information about shapes has really made me think and makes such sense. Thank you!!

    I live near Ventura, Ca.

If you ever decide to teach again please let me know as I would be quite interested.

    Thank you,
    Lisa

  2. Lisa, Small world! My partner, Mike, grew up in Santa paula, so collect Shively’s work, as well as both Cornielus and Jess Arms Botke. if you sold on eBay, Mike was bidding.
